I can remember myself as a little girl. My dad had built me a mini kitchen to play with outside on the farm. As soon as the rooster sounded his alarm in the morning I would pop out of bed and get dressed super-fast and out to my kitchen I would go. I would use mud, and rocks and flowers to make and decorate mud pies. I remember a time I was brave enough to TRY to steal a few eggs from the chicken coop. It didn’t work out as planned. I can remember helping my mom, aunts and my Granny in the kitchen cooking or baking. I think I knew from a very young age I wanted to be a Chef. I love the way you can take two ingredients that taste so different and then combine them and they make the best combination that is just perfect. The best part is seeing the reaction of a person who is trying your food. The surprise that sweet and spicy or tart and sweet really works together. The surprise on their fact when all those combinations explode on their tongues and their faces light up with joy is true satisfaction. I would like to take you on my culinary journey. The ups and downs of being a personal chef just starting out.
Thank you for reading this far and I hope you will be back to read more.
